Vesi started in the grocery store.
Our founder, Kristie, is a mom of three who kept finding herself standing in the drink aisle, flipping bottles over, reading labels, and trying to figure out which option felt the least bad for her athletes.
Too much sugar. Dyes. Ingredients she didn’t want. Products marketed to young athletes that still didn’t feel like something she actually wanted to give her own.
She got tired of settling.
So she created Vesi, combining hydration, gut support, and immune support in one simple stick, always made with real organic fruit and thoughtfully chosen ingredients.
Because taking care of your athlete shouldn’t require standing in a grocery store aisle trying to choose the least bad option.

Real Ingredients, Not a Flavor System
Every Vesi stick gets its flavor from real organic fruit: lime and lemon in Limelight; strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry in Night Swim; strawberry and lemon in Heat Wave. Fruit makes up 21–33% of every stick by weight, and every fruit is named on the label, because fruit is food. A flavor system’s only job is taste. Fruit brings taste plus what fruit naturally contains, like potassium and polyphenols.
No dyes, no artificial flavors, no maltodextrin. Just a label you can actually read.
More Than Electrolytes
Youth are already reaching for something to drink every day, so why stop at hydration? Every Vesi stick adds prebiotic fiber, a probiotic, vitamin C, and zinc, for gut support and immune support in the same drink they’d be having anyway.
And it flexes. One stick in 10 oz of water is a complete serving, whether your athlete is 7 or 18. Bigger bottle, bigger athlete, or bigger day? Add another, up to the daily limit for their age.

Built by an Athlete Mom, Not a Big Company
Kristie Shifflette swam Division I at Georgetown, scaled a fitness franchise to 40 locations, and spent years studying food as medicine. She’s also a mom of three athletes. One day in the grocery aisle, with a sick teenager at home and a team waiting on snacks, she read every label on the shelf and couldn’t find one she felt good handing any of them. She didn’t want less bad. She wanted good.

Why the name Vesi?
Vesi comes from the Nordic word for water: powerful, essential, transparent, life giving. Not just for the podium moment, but for the whole day.
